The 2017 Annual Meeting of Catalytic Materials Branch of China Rare Earth Industry Association was held in our company from October 18th to 20th, 2017. The annual meeting was hosted by the China Rare Earth Industry Association Catalytic Materials Branch and the Jiangsu Yixing Non-Metal Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd.
More than sixty people attended in the conference, including Feng Meng, the director of the Rare Earth Division of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Yang Wenhao, the secretary of China Rare Earth Industry Association, Li Chunlong, the chairman of China Rare Earth Society, Zhang Anwen, the deputy secretary, Wang Jiaming, the president of China Rare Earth Industry Association Catalytic Materials Branch and general manager of Wuxi Weifu Lida Catalytic Purifier Co. Ltd, Professor Shen Meiqing and other leaders of the rare earth catalytic materials industry. The meeting had three agendas: opening ceremony, academic and technical seminars, and chapter work.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Wang Jiaming, the president of the Catalytic Materials Branch of China Rare Earth Rare Earth Association and general manager of Wuxi Weifu. Zhang Hui, the general manager of Jiangsu Yixing Non-Metal Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd., and Wang Chengjie, the deputy director of Yixing City Economic and Information Committee made a welcome speech.
Yang Wenhao, the secretary of the China Rare Earth Industry Association, made an important speech. First of all, he welcomed the leaders, experts and business representatives who attended the meeting, and thanked them for their long-term support for the work of the association. Secondly, he briefly introduced the recent work of the association. Finally, he wished the conference a complete success.

On the 19th, Shen Meiqing, the secretary of the Catalysis Branch of China Rare Earth Industry Association and professor of Tianjin University, host the academic seminar in the morning.
Dr. Chen Haiying from Zhuang Xin (North America), Zhang Zhongdong from the Petrochemical Institute, and Liu Hai from Shandong Guozhu, respectively, made wonderful reports on the “Application of Rare Earth in Vehicle Exhaust Gas Purification Catalyst”, “Application of Rare Earth Materials in Catalytic Cracking Catalysts/Auxiliaries” and “Cerium Zirconium Hydrogen Storage Materials.”
On the afternoon of the 19th, the academic and technical seminar was hosted by researcher Zhao Yunkun, the technical director of Kunming Guiyan Catalyst Co., Ltd. and Kunming Institute of Precious Metals. Professor Guo Wei from East China University of Science and Technology, Professor Cui Meisheng with Rare Earth Research, and Professor Shan Bin from Huazhong University of Science and Technology respectively gave reports on “Thoughts and Achievements about Rare Earth Catalytic”, and “Application and Technology Progress of Zirconium Oxide in Autmobile Exhaust Catalysts” and "Interface Design and Construction of Catalytic Materials".
At the conference of Catalytic Materials, Wang Jiaming, the president of the club, summarized the work of the club in 2016-2017 and announced the work plan for the 2017-2018.
Li Chunlong, the chairman of the China Rare Earth Society, made an important speech. He first highly praised the holding of this conference and believed that the China Rare Earth Industry Association Catalytic Materials has made important contributions to the exchange and progress of the industry. Secondly, he gave a brief introduction to the position and work of the society. Finally, he congratulated the meeting on its success.

He once again thanked the experts and enterprises for their support of the work and gave high evaluations of the meeting. Feng Jiadi, the chairman of Jiangsu Yixing Non-Metal Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd. and Zhang Hui, the general manager introduced the company's situation and future development direction and goal and accompanied guests to visit the enterprise R&D center and production site.
